Triathlon Fund Raiser
In May 2010 Kit participated in a mini-triathlon to raise money for the Sudanese Education Fund. As part of a team, she swam the first leg of the race - her teammates cycled and ran. It was an incredible experience!

Launch (or reboot) your job search campaign with new focus and energy These interactive sessions will address age discrimination and its implications for job seekers. You will discover how to conduct a job search campaign that will have you feeling productive every day, will get you in front of people who can steer you to where the action is and will get you reemployed within a reasonable time frame. We know there are tremendous needs out there, and people with depth and breadth of experience can contribute the most. Kit Harrington Hayes is a Career Counselor who has been counseling and coaching adults in transition for 25 years.

Seeking Mentoring Volunteers
Kit is looking for mentors to work one-on-one with Sudanese gentlemen who have completed the "Get to Work Program". The commitment is to attend a training program and meet with your assigned protige (accent on e) for up to 2 hours a week.
Training and mentoring will take place at:

Three of the young men pictured are seeking jobs. The forth, Goch, has begun a new position. All of them completed Kit's intensive 16 hour seminar series, part of the "Get to Work Program" at the South Sunanese Community Center in Arlington.

Kit spoke on her favorite topic - Selling Your Age Advantage - at Carey Library in Lexington on December 17th at 7:00 p.m. She received rave reviews when she presented this lively, interactive talk at the Brookline Public Library in the fall. This event is free and open to the public. Carey Library is located on Mass. Ave. in Lexington Center.
